Ask our concierge →Emirates House runs the full block from Collins Street through to Flinders Lane — fifteen storeys and about 14,000 square metres, held and managed by the family office that has owned it since 1998.
The building opened in 1973 as the De Bono Centre, on the site of Banking House — built for the Bank of Victoria in 1862. Hallmarc acquired it in 1998 and refurbished it in 2000, reopening it as Emirates House. It presents fifteen storeys to Collins Street and steps down to five at Flinders Lane, with a ground-floor arcade connecting the two.
Hallmarc runs its own head office from Level 14, which tends to show in how the building is managed. The tenant mix is deliberately broad — Autodesk, the Australian Psychological Society, the Consulate General of the Philippines and Emirates itself, alongside architecture and legal practices — with Burberry, The Hour Glass and Brunetti Oro at street level. Sector Serviced Offices holds Level 3 for tenants who need a room rather than a floor.
