Gateway is a 164 metre Premium grade tower at 1 Macquarie Place, directly opposite Circular Quay, owned and managed by Dexus.

Gateway was completed in December 1990 to a design by Peddle Thorp & Walker. It rises 164 metres, 157 metres to the roof, and offers about 44,000 square metres of office space on typical floorplates of 1,198 square metres.

Dexus completed a $30 million modernisation and structural strengthening program in 2018 with Woods Bagot as architect and Buildcorp as builder. The building holds a 5 star NABERS Energy rating and has a concierge, end of trip facilities and onsite wellness services.

The tower has 47 storeys in total, three of them below ground; Dexus itself publishes two different office level counts, 38 and 39, so that figure is left out. Tenants listed by Wikipedia include the University of Wollongong Sydney Business School and the British Consulate General; Servcorp and Dexus Place both offer workspace in the building.
